Today’s photo is I am afraid one from the archives. It is from a fairly recent trip to Buckden in the Yorkshire Dales and shows a traditional dales barn.
Things have been a little hectic this week and photo opportunities have been few. Dogs have played a big in our families life, at least for the last twenty odd years. Since our 17yr old cross lurcher/retriever passed away last year things have been quiet. Just a super placid Labrador to keep us company. It is therefore with a little trepidation and a lot of excitement that a five month old puppy will be joining us tomorrow.
The dog is from a rescue centre so the week has been taken up with visits, checks and the like. Normal service photographically will be resumed fairly soon, I am not so sure about a quiet home.
